Hola Pablo. Podéis utilizar cualquier material adicional que podáis encontrar o crear vosotros mismos, no hay problema. Lo único a considerar es que, en caso de discrepancia entre dos documentos, los proporcionados por arkitekturo derán considerados como válidos. Nuestras fotoografías por ejemplo fueron sacadas hace unos meses, es posible que fotografías más recientes muestren algo diferente. En ese caso la información que se muestra en nuestras fotografías sería la “correcta” dentro del contexto del concurso.

No, no necesariamente. Sobre todo si estáis considerando un aparcamiento veréis en cuanto empecéis a jugar con la idea que requiere muchos metros cuadrados, y si se los quitais al resto de espacios acabaréis con un aparcamiento con campus en vez de un campus con aparcamiento.

Lo hemos dicho antes varias veces, pero recordar que si vais a proponer nuevas areas debe quedar claro como estas favorecen al proyecto. El jurado estudiará todas las propuestas, cumplan o no con los espacios que pide el ejercicio, pero si no detectan un buen motivo por el cual se han incluido espacios que no se pedian probablemente les cueste hacer avanzar al proyecto en el proceso de selección.

Pensar que es el “cliente” quien propone los espacios que necesita. Si un cliente os pide una casa de 3 habitaciones y vosotros queréis ponerle un gimnasio, vais a tener que convencer al cliente de que necesita un gimnasio.

Jokes apart, designing for a foreign location, with a different history, culture, and in your case, a very different weather, is always a challenge. We must really get outside of our comfort zones and try to put ourselves in the shoes of those who will be using the spaces we are designing, people who are probably very different to us.

I guess you could say that architecture is a universal language. We architects (or future architects), all know the words, but just like with the spoken language, it’s important to use them with care and respect wherever our designs might take us 🙂

Hi Renso. Thanks for your question. Teams have until the registration deadline to submit their student IDs or other documentation to proof their student status. For the Bauhaus Campus 2021 that is until April 4th.

Thank you for getting in touch with us. It really depends on the software you are using, that is why we included the visual scale. Using the visual scale you can scale the drawing in your software so that you can then extract any measures you might need from the drawing.

Once again every software is slightly different, but knowing that each block in the visual scale is 250 meters, you can select all the drawing (including the visual scale) and make it larger/smaller until the visual scale matches your software units. Once you resized the vector lines to the point where your software reads each block of the visual scale as being 250 meters, you can then extract any other measurement from the drawing.

That being said, this is an ideas competition, with limited presentation space, and although of course the site’s dimensions have to be considered, the jury will be looking at the general concept of your design, the relationship of your building/s with the surroundings, etc. but not whether or not you are a meter off.
