WHAT IS THE FUTURE OF ARCHITECTURE?
It is something to dream about and question ourselves every day as architects. What we know for sure is that the new architecture should respond to all global challenges – air pollution, global warming, sea-level rise, pandemics, demographic crisis, artificial intelligence.
Not only the global changes but also peoples’ new needs have to be satisfied – travelling, moving, changing, meeting, isolation, socialization.
Today it is more obvious than ever that the AI has affected all aspects of our life. So we question ourselves:
WHAT IS THE FUTURE OF ARCHITECTURAL EDICATION?
People teaching people? People teaching machines? Machines teaching people?
our design is an attempt to answer all of these questions. While machines will be increasingly more involved in the process, architects would still be essential in the discussion of ideas. They may just need a shadow to sit under or maybe a whole campus to experiment in. that is what we leave to them to decide – to create a university campus by themselves. So as architects it is YOUR TURN to imagine it!
