This project concludes our reflection and reflection on the creative path of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. We came to the conclusion that the play of light is one of the key factors and tried to reflect this idea in our project.
The façade is a stained-glass window with metal panels that can be rotated 180° and make the façade blind.
The plan consists of corridors that are communication and work space at the same time.
Cells 9×4.5m are the repository of the personal library of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, individual rooms for classes and meetings (on the second floor) and cells with stairs. Their height is 9m, they pass through the two-height space. The cells are also the structural support of the building.
Shelves with a common library are located along one of the walls of the cells and have a height of 9m. They are equipped with a lift to access the top books.
Working areas Located in the corridors.
In the evening, films and lectures are projected on one of the facades for everyone.
