The main idea of the project is the adaptability of the site, exterior and interior of the building, for maximum flexibility to any function in the future. Changes in the world economy, ecology, health care and in general the acceleration of human life, do not give a clear understanding of what function of buildings will be relevant (necessary), for example, even in 10 years.

Adaptability for possible future changes is expressed:

1) On the site. Due to large open volumes, the use of which is limited only by human imagination.

In our opinion, it was also important to preserve existing ways around the site and add new connections. The existing skate park and historic building on the neighboring site are currently used by young people not systematically. This prompted us to combine the two sites and create a single framework, as these sites are still used in tandem today. The skate park with its hilly surface stretches along the railway and serves as additional protection for the building and the rest of the site from excessive noise. The whole area is covered with a pattern of stripes and scattered patches of educational and playing spaces. This comprehensive solution creates a holistic educational park.

2) In the building. Due to flexible planning and adaptive facades.

The university campus consists of three simple rectangles-blocks: educational, exhibition and residential. The placement of blocks is dictated by the shape of the plot. The exhibition and study volume are at the level of the ground and first floors, and the cube-shaped living space is raised and hanged (as in weightlessness) over the first two. It makes it possible to create a passage through the building.

The outer shell of each block reflects its function. The exhibition block is a kinetic facade that can be changed. The educational block is a glass facade with shutters that provide the maximum comfortable environment for learning. And the living block is covered with simple materials of plaster and scattered open windows to illuminate each room. The educational block from the railway side is protected from excessive noise by an internal gallery, and the exhibition block on the street side invites visitors inside.
