TRIPLET:
TRIPLET, consists of three circular courtyard buildings, each of them representing one of the individual programs: Learning, Living and Making that are crucial to a designer’s education and individual growth.
The three buildings each have their own life and centrality yet they open to one another through their common landscape base, occupied by an outdoor exhibition space, a small outdoor theater and a construction courtyard sequentially.
The central auditorium is dug out between the three circles, creating a topography that gives connections to the programs underground, generating vivid urbanity between the clearly independent structures and the surrounding environment, streets and neighborhoods.
The theater in traditional Bauhaus was the center for all students and faculty, to provide a research lab and opportunities for meeting and communication.
In TRIPLET, a center for all people and all knowledge to converge still exists: the multi-functional auditorium brings together visitors, students and faculty.
