BAUHAUS X COMMUNAL PARK
The concept of this design focuses on open spaces. Campuses should be surrounded by nature and open spaces so students can feel and be more inspired. So this building emphasises on natural light + green areas. Both sides of the building are covered with windows so the natural light can go through.
As part of the building there is the Communal Park which connects with the left wing of the campus. This space is mainly for the students but is also open to the community.
Since this is a space open to the community, the first thing entering the building will be the exhibition space so the students can always show their work there and it’s accessible to everyone in the community to see. The underground is just for the workshops and the top floor is only for classrooms.
Then we have The Residence which is an additional building in front of the Main Campus so students can have a morning walk to class and enjoy some nature on the way.
BAUHAUS MONUMENT
So we never forget the history and those who made the Bauhaus possible for us to learn today. This monument includes the names of the creators as well as some history/iconic phrases in the center of the campus.
