The project considerates the Alter Räucherturm, as a part of the complex. The architectural form of the old building is simplified into a massive volume and a light structure.
The new campus contemplates different compositions of massive volumes and light structures according to the space requeriments and the desire to stablish different relationships with the public space. The project is made up of three principal volumes connected by paths that define the public space.
The volumes are aligned parallel to the streets and the existing bike path. The arrangement of these considers a greater activity of the public space in front of the old building, where the cafe is located.
