Hello Caroline. Your files do not need to have any specif name. Since you are uploading them from your account, our system will already know they belong to you, regardless of the name each file has. As long as they are .JPG or .PNG, under 16MB for the presentation board and under 8MB for the single files, you’ll be good 😉

Las imagenes que ves, una vez cargadas en la página, son sólo miniaturas de la imagen original que sirven como referencia para que veas lo que has subido, en qué orden, etc. Al ser miniaturas es posible que no se vean con la máxima calidad, pero no tienes de qué preocuparte ya que nosotros recibimos el archivo original, sin compresión de ningún tipo, con la misma calidad que tuviese en tu ordenador antes de ser cargada en la web.

Hello Caroline. From your description of the problem it would seem like the upload process is timing out. This can happen depending on how many images you are trying to upload at the same time and the speed of your internet connection. Please try uploading images one by one. Pick one image, then click save, then pick the next, click save, and so on, see if that fixes the problem. If it does you can also try uploading 2-3 images at a time.

Hello hhmdl. The brief was clear that the presentation should be limited to one single board. Initially it was a din-A2 board, and then the size was increased to a din-A1, but it’s still a single board.

Hello Namrata. Our system will keep track of who uploads what, so if a presentation board has not ID it wont be an issue, however it’s always good practice to identify your board with your registration ID (and in many competitions it is mandatory), so we encourage you to include it.

Hay mil cosas que pueden pasar… se puede ir la luz, la conexión a internet puede ir lenta… y sería un pena que no llegaseis a tiempo por algún problema de este tipo, los cuales, si os dais suficiente tiempo a vosotros mismos, tienen solución.

Hola Fernando. Siempre y cuando los archivos no pesen más que los límites marcados (16MB para el panel y 8MB para los archivos sueltos) no hay ninguna limitación en cuanto a la resolución que estos pueden tener.

Hola Lina. El idioma oficial del concurso es el inglés, y si bien ningún equipo será descalificado por incluir textos en otros idiomas, recomendamos que todo esté en inglés. Esto también hará que vuestro proyecto tenga más posibilidades de ser publicado por blogs y revistas de habla no hispana.

Hello Gabriela. Just answering this question anyway in case somebody else need an answer to it. If the upload process is successful you should be able to see the document on the upload screen, even after refreshing it. If you navigate back to the submissions page and can’t see any of your file there that means they were not uploaded properly.

Hola Carmen. En el formulario de entrega del proyecto verás que hay un campo de texto (como un word). Cualquier texto explicativo que haya en el panel de presentación (si lo hay, no es obligatorio) deberá ser también escrito (o copiado y pegado) en este campo.

After submitting your project you should see all your files in the submission page. If you do not see your images on the submission page after submitting them then they have not been uploaded.

If you are having problems saving your project please try saving your images one by one. Slow internet connections might time out before all files can be uploaded.

Hola Michell. Sin saber vuestro código de inscripción o no mbre del equipo nos es imposible comprobar el estado de vuestro registro. Sin embargo estamos realizando comprobaciones de la documentación de estudiante de muchos equipos mientras hablamos, así que si habéis cargado la documentación deberéis recibir un email confirmando su validez en breve, si no lo habéis recibido ya.

Hola Jose. Por regla general las láminas de los concursos deben ser anónimas y estar identificadas únicamente con vuestro código de inscripción. Dicho esto, nosotros somos un poco más flexibles en este aspecto y aceptaremos láminas sin identificación o con nombres concretos, pero de cara a practicar para concursos futuros en los que quieras participar, lo normal es que se pida sólo el código de inscrición.

Hello Annika. From the information you gave us it seems like the problem might be one of two things:

• On top of the MB limit, there is a pixel size limit too. Your files cannot be more than 9050px on either side.
• Even if the file is under that size and under 16MB, if the internet connection is slow and uploading that single file takes more than 30 seconds the site can time out and cancel the upload. You can try reducing the file size a bit or getting closer to your router if you are on a wifi connection.
