Our concept is to create not just a library – a place where knowledge is stored, but The Temple of Architecture in which the memory of the great architect is celebrated.
This idea is embodied in the «nave» structure, in the «sacred text» in the form of Mies’s plans turned into the façade pattern and in the «crypt» which contains a closed collection and an open exhibition space.
Our building is a combination of classic architecture with Miss’s approach, enriched with a modern vision: sustainability and attention to the atmosphere of space and its perception. Thus, our object not only celebrate Mies, but also reveals the inseparable connection and continuity of generations of the architects.
