BAUHAUS CAMPUS 2021 AIMS TO CREATE A LINK BETWEEN DAILY LIFE AND STUDENT LIFE SO THAT TOGETHER THEY CAN FORM A WHOLE. ADITIONALLY, IT IS INTENDED TO ACHIEVE A NEW UNDERSTANDING OF ARCHITECTURE. MAKING IT ADAPT TO CHANGES AND UNDERSTAND THE NEW NEEDS OF STUDENTS, NOT ONLY EDUCATIONAL BUT ALSO IN THE WAY OF LIFE.
TARTAN MESH IS A FABRIC THAT CONSISTS OF A SERIES OF HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL LINES THAT WHEN CROSSED FORM SQUARES THAT GUIDE THE MESH.
BASED ON THIS IDEA, EACH COMPONENT OF THE PROGRAM WAS TAKEN TO GUIDE THE PATTERN, GENERATING THE MAIN SPACES (WORKSHOP, HOUSING EXHIBITS) AT THEIR CONVERGENCE. THUS, THE UNION OF THE SPACES GENERATES A PURE FIGURE. ALSO, THIS MESH CAN BE FORMALLY EVIDENCED IN ITS STRUCTURE.
