Colors and Emotions Experimental – inspired by Wassily Kandinsky
Wassily Kandinsky began teaching in 1922. Kandinsky embraced what he saw as the spiritual qualities of color and form. During his tenure, his work became more focused on abstract shapes and lines. Kandinsky remained with the school until its closing.
To apply Kandinsky’s idea with the new Bauhaus is to adapt visual art from lines and form to architecture, adapting 2d art into 3d to create space, emotion, and new experience.
- ” YELLOW “ – ‘ Sharp Color ‘ : Full of movement, Corresponded with the pointed form of the triangle.
- ” RED” – ‘ Forceful ‘: Corresponding to the inner tension of the square plane.
- ” BLUE “ – ‘ Deeper ‘: Recede from the picture plane and thus aligned with the more restful roundness of the circle.
