The digital revolution completely melted with the industrial world is the fertile soil where the BAUHAUS will grow in the XXI century. At the heart of his mission settles the conviction that to enhance the world, men must restart by re-exploring reality from new perspectives and reinventing it thinking out of the box.

A humble industrial object as a massive castellated beam, declined in its unlimited spatial possibilities, rotating and shifting it generates spaces and it shapes a new campus where art, science and architecture thrive.

The auditorium is an extremization of the investigation and development of all the spatial components. Frontal speeches are rejected and the actor can be seen at 360 degrees, thanks to the position of the stage. The upper floors, as well as the stage, are made of bar grating and the latter can be elevated obtaining a view of the shows all-round, even upside down. Outside, the cladding acts as a canvas for the free expression of the students. Indeed, each panel can be cyclically painted or customized with posters of events or artworks.

The cafeteria stands as a filter between the classrooms and the large exhibition space. It is characterized by an imposing industrial staircase that performs as a backdrop to the counter and allows you to reach the overhead storage.

The workshop area is a series of spaces for every possible activity, from art and architecture to industrial design and handicraft. On the right there are five schoolrooms, each one capable of holding up to 20 students and on the left a large double-height area usable for larger projects. At the corner, a room is reserved for all types of machinery, as 3D printers and CNC machines. To emphasize an unconventional new way of learning, outside it is also provided a connected paved square to encourage students to the most extravagant activities open-air.

The exhibition space is composed by alcoves and views interrupted by a forest of panels, screens, projections and artworks, all as an expression of the chaos of the contemporary world. The BAUHAUS mission is to find harmony through progress and research. The whole second floor, accessible by elevatable platforms and metal staircases, is made by removable and re-assembledable bar grating panels, forming in this way infinite possibilities at each different exposure. To wrap this unproportioned space up, polycarbonate alveolar sheets have been used, allowing you to glimpse the presence of an object without revealing its details, bursting curiosity.

The dormitory is planned as a synergy between private and collective spaces. A tangle of stairs connects the large balconies, thought as places of aggregations and interactions thanks to the openable glass doors of all rooms. Every accommodation has equipped one or two beds on lofts two meters from the ground, able to ensure privacy in the sleeping area. On each level there are also common recreation spaces and on the ground floor a canteen for the entire campus.
